Brief History
In 1970, James Colosimo Sr. established Michigan Arc Products on a simple premise. The automotive industry performed an extensive amount of welding in their facilities as did their tier supplier base, and they all were in need of better welding technology to improve their manufacturing capabilities. Jim knew that if he could provide the automotive industry with a professional technical sales force coupled with a highly skilled engineering department designed to provide process and procedure development at a competitive price, his company would be very successful.
